Phenotype is orders of magnitude more important than genotype for everything from discrimination to healthcare to sexuality

Chromosomes are meaningless and any law treating them as all sex is is wrong

While not the outcome we had hoped for, it doesn’t change the fact that trans women are women, nor does it take away the legal protections in place for trans people in the Equality Act under Gender Reassignment.
This is not an excuse for anyone to discriminate against trans people.
