Earlier this month, I stopped by the Winter Art Fair Off the Square at Monona Terrace. Art is a powerful tool to bring people together and share messages of unity, change, and resistance.

Congrats to all the artists and organizers on a wonderful event!

Things are tough right now. On this Trans Day of Remembrance, we honor the lives of those who were taken from us far too soon. But we also celebrate trans joy, the progress we’ve fought for, and the community we’ve found.

Today is about committing ourselves to a future where everyone is liberated.

In the State Assembly, I'll fight for a minimum wage of at least $20 an hour, strengthen our unions, and end the subminimum wage for tipped workers.

We need more money in our pockets as the cost of living continues to increase, and no one should have to juggle multiple jobs just to get by.

The working class is doing everything right, yet we're falling further behind while billionaires and big corporations continue to make record profits. It's time to put workers first.

I know what it's like to work hard and still struggle to make ends meet. As a food service worker, I've worked for $2.13 an hour plus tips for most of my career.

Wisconsin's minimum wage hasn't been raised since 2009 – even as the cost of rent, groceries, and healthcare has soared.

And in November, we’re going to win the trifecta and finally deliver for working people across our state.
