Like there's no significant or meaningful change, Trump just wanted to be able to put his name on something again to say he's doing stuff.

Provider of unsolicited commentary. Expect nerding out about history, games, and anything I happen to find interesting. He/Him.

08.02.2026 15:47 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Would not be the slightest bit surprised to learn the whole reason "China's already done their part" is that any supposed trade deal to come from this is just the same as the previous one.
08.02.2026 15:46 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0The Puppy Bowl is an actual thing and I honestly watch more of it than the Super Bowl each year.

07.02.2026 04:22 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I kind of hate how effective that shit is with their voters, though.
"more of map red, that means more red voters, blue must have cheated" is weirdly difficult to dislodge once it's burrowed in there.
Oh, that was an easy block.
Don't need anyone shilling for crappy GenAI instead of, y'know, effort. Especially someone who should, in theory but clearly not in practice, fucking know better.
Hear me out:

So, did he need to be hosed out of the courtroom afterward, or was it more of a disintegration and there was just nothing left?
06.02.2026 03:19 β π 15 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Very much not a lawyer but I would cry ANIME level tears on the spot, at bare minimum, if I ever faced this in court from a judge.
Very respectfully, holy shit.
made worse by the fact that his on-camera persona was *viscerally* grating and obnoxious, so.
Even the "appeal to my former, extremely niche appeal" strategy still leads to "oh, right, sleazy and completely insufferable"
I cannot imagine why anyone would do this
Pretty sure I remember it became a meme with him, specifically, given the circumstances of his arrest
So, that's probably coming back up, only louder this time.
first link I could find based on what I could recall about the details, I cannot remember the actual citation specifically
But I remember there being a decision that said fingerprint unlock was fair game just because you'd be fingerprinted at the station anyway.
Is it this one?

At the same time, for somebody supposedly in great health, he's acting an awful lot like a dying emperor.

05.02.2026 19:26 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I honestly expect them to act as if nothing has changed and just maintain the same "well, uh, it's just God acting through an imperfect instrument" bullshit
and acting like everyone else is just making a big deal out of nothing
I'm now going to be stuck imagining everyone else sharing news just busting through the wall like the Kool-Aid man to shout new developments at us.

Because that sounds like a pretty fantastic arrangement if she honors the dibs.
Like MAGA absolutely treats the guy as a golden calf, saying anything bad about him (no matter how accurate) is like blasphemy to them.

If your barbs are weak or it sounds like your heart's not in it, they don't let you in, but if you roast that motherfucker they just nod politely and let you pass.
Oh good, I was gonna ping her if nobody else did.
04.02.2026 00:39 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0By far the BEST advantage being that, as a skellyman (or woman), you don't need lockpicks, you just use your boney fingers :>
(Lizards, meanwhile, don't need shovels to dig, and elves can read memories and randomly gain new skills by eating people's remains :D )
Also saw several custom races, but haven't really browsed through yet. I find the four-ish you get work just fine.
And I say "ish" because there's an undead variant for each of them (Human, Dwarf, Elf, Lizard), and undead has its own perks and drawbacks.
I don't use any just because I imagine it'd cause problems trying to play with anyone without the same mods installed, but from a glance it seems like there's a good variety. Plenty of quality-of-life ones like class reworks, if nothing else.

03.02.2026 23:43 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0But by far my favorite thing is embracing the chaos of a Necromancer + Warrior class (Inquisitor), and not only stacking damage but also healing from any blood on the ground
Which there will most certainly be plenty of.
Especially after you learn how to make it *literally rain blood* :D
(related, but Buddy is also THE GOODEST BOY and deserves all of the belly rubs and snacks)

At one point you can even end up cornered by murderous hounds, hold up a ball, and hear a chorus of "BALL? BALL! BALL BALL BALL!"
and then just walk away completely unharmed by throwing it
Divinity: Original Sin 2 is on sale for like $11 and change over on Steam, if you like party RPGs (or Larian, given Baldur's Gate 3) definitely go pick it up.
The ridiculous bullshit you can get up to continues to be incredible, and Pet Pal remains one of the best perks you can ever pick.
Feel like his browser history would be just as illuminating.
You just know he's gotta have several bookmarks devoted to countdown clocks until a given underage celebrity turns 18.
