Shocking that Musk didn't have a hand in the creation of this thing, the names are just that right kind of "probably sounds edgy and cool to a teenaged shut-in" kind of aesthetic he's so fond of.

I'm "fortunate" in that I already don't subscribe to any of them, but that was less of moral decision and more of a financial one several months ago.

Except HBO Max anyway, that one was more of a "fuck David Zaslav" situation, because he hates creators and wants to run that shit into the ground.

Personally, I wouldn't boycott over ads unless I know for certain how the time was purchased, but that's just my criteria.

e.g., does the streaming service even actually control ad sales or is that contracted out to a separate service that handles everything, that sort of thing.
