Well, Trump’s policies and annexation threats did help Carney win. Canadians took one look at the shitshow south of the border and decided we didn’t want a “MAGA-lite” CPC government and gave the Liberals another shot.

Ottawa has some really nice museums but its a quiet city and not as cool as your most recent travel destinations.

I haven’t gotten around to it, but my younger daughter did at the end of the year through school (it got delayed a few weeks because the King came to do the Throne Speech and security was tight in downtown Ottawa). I’ve done the Bank of Canada Museum twice & will eventually get to the mint.

Well, they’ve actually changed the robes to black with red piping because the red robes were a little too warm. The new look is less jolly.

Why not! 🤷🏻‍♂️

It’s not a divisive institution here. It’s cool for school kids doing tours (a big perk of living in here in Ottawa; great museum and institutional field trips).

And honestly, much nicer Court than SCOTUS. Appointments have stayed much more based on quality of jurisprudence and not based on partisanship.
