i don't know if there's actually an AI bubble in the sense that tech critics want there to be, but i do think we are discounting the possibility of actual society-wide backlash when normal people start to see the actual consequences of video-generating models you can run on a decent home pc

The only thing I’d add as they are both debating an impossible premise, the antis are basically arguing for uninventing the technology (impossible), while the pros are arguing for outsourcing everything to it (also impossible)
