I find it odd that they are not reporting that this is radioactive waste from a site decommissioned 31 years ago!! There is a beach close by, that still has warning signs saying it could be radioactive, why the fuck would they want to make more of this?

Re how I get these notifications, I set up an account years ago and presume they arrive as a result of that. If you want to receive them maybe try setting up an account for yourself. From memory it didn't cost anything.
