I saw it in the cinema followed by a Q&A with the director, and he said the initial cut of the film was about 15 hours long!

Back in the day my music loving mates were a few years ahead of me and I thank them profusely for making me go and see Frank every year in the comedy rent at Reading.

I'm watching the Chris Sievey film and my tiny mind is blown.

I keep seeing this shop and seriously considering buying every single thing in it. I don't, because as I've said before I am why I can't have nice things, and all these things would end up not actually put on display and covered in coffee. But I'm very tempted. It's like seeing inside my own head.

The mouse holds a dish, a flower, and cloth (often held by pharaohs). Dimensions 8.9 x 17.3 x 1.1 cm. Dated c. 1295–1075 BC. Animals imitating human behaviour are well-known in Egyptian art. Their meaning is uncertain. Perhaps this sketch is a caricature or illustration of a long-lost fable, perhaps a satire of the royal family, or maybe just a sketch for fun!
