Highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N1 have been confirmed at a premises near Penrith, Westmorland and Furness, Cumbria.

A 3km Protection Zone and a 10km Surveillance Zone have been put in place around the premises. Further information about this case is available on GOV.UK.
