Listening to a recent podcast episode of @acidhorizon.bsky.social where Mars McDougall called ketamine "libertarian psychoanalysis" and I don't think anything more perfect could be said today.

It's literally impossible to run the National Weather Service without talking to foreign partners.

For example, the National Hurricane Center in Miami shares data with other nations in the Caribbean constantly to forecast storms. Everyone benefits.

Weather doesn't stop at the borders.

This is why I get annoyed by people who say "well, we/they voted for this" 😒

As I scoop cat litter from five boxes at 11pm after four days of having not done so due to insufficient time and energy of looking after a newborn, I wearily dab my nose of blood from the dry air and dry litter dust and reflect on the 6th house as the derived 2nd from the 5th house of children.

Me getting emotional a few times a week thinking about my benefics locked up in the 12th and 6th and my daughter's in their joys in the 11th and 5th 🥺 you will know delights even in these times, baby girl.

And this too is a holy function within the cosmos.

Doesn't mean there's not some gold to be gained here. But much more likely someone else will have to figure out how to refine it into real treasure.

The creativity. The chaos. Jupiter lacks dignity here because incoherence is part of the game. It's a cut-up that could form the basis of a brilliant novel but is much more likely to end up as a shoebox full of post-its.
