We owe our neighbors real support. That means shorter wait times for care, school counselors and campus services that meet demand, and resources for veterans, first responders, and survivors.

I’m committed to expanding mental health care in Michigan so help is there when people reach out.

Today is World Mental Health Day. As an Army EOD officer and a Reserve Sheriff’s Deputy, I’ve seen how stress, trauma, and isolation can stack up.

I also lost my dad to mental health struggles, and I carry that with me every day. Asking for help shows strength, not weakness.

Wages of unionized workers are 13% higher than their nonunion counterparts.

But unions also set a higher pay standard that all workers enjoy.

In high-union-density states, median household income is $12,000 higher than in low-union-density states.

This is why unions are vital.
