There is a shimmer on the tarn which is reflecting the blue of the sky and the dark colour of some of the surrounding fells. Near the shore, in the foreground, rocks are in the water. The sun is shining on the far shore and on the Langdale Pikes in the distance.

Siamo così abituati alla presenza imponente del nostro vulcano che spesso quasi dimentichiamo che esso esista, basta però una foto, un momento di riflessione, uno sguardo meno fugace verso l'Etna per farci innamorare nuovamente della nostra città.
