A sunset behind tall wheat
Me holding a ritual sickle many years ago
May the things that you sacrificed at the altar of your ambition be worth it. May you reap a harvest so massive it puts your previous ones to shame. May you enjoy the heat of the double dog sun so much it keeps you warm through the descent. #lammas

Lughnasadh / Lammas: Celtic Harvest Deities, Folk Rituals, and Seasonal Witchcraft β Golden Web Mystery School
The grain is turning, the winds are shifting, and the Wheel begins to tilt toward harvest. My latest blog explores the roots of Lammas and Lughnasadh, Celtic Deities, folk magic, and the sacred cycles...
The first harvest is here. Lammas and Lughnasadh carry the old magic of ripening grain, sacrifice, and gratitude. I wrote about the Deities, the history, and the folk traditions that still echo through the land.

A vintage compass with a metallic casing, resting on a wooden surface near a window. The compass face shows cardinal directions with an ornate central design. In the background, a wooden window frame and frosted glass obscure the view outside.
Did you know that we have created 'shelves' for some of our #CopimCompass 'books'?

The disability flag and what it means #disabilitypride
I know many disabled people have a difficult relationship with the word 'pride', because they'd much prefer to not be this way, but I find thinking of it as 'unashamed' rather than 'glad' helps.

I thought I had it one time when I left my wheelie bin out for more than 24 hours after the bin man came, I didn't realise it wasn't the done thing and my fussy neighbours were aggrieved, but what's happening to Gregg really puts things in perspective.

Gregg Wallace faces backlash over autism defence
The TV presenter was criticised after he appeared to link claims of misconduct to his autism diagnosis.
Gregg Wallace has actually got a special type of Autism called Caughtism, like Neil Gaiman has. Poor fellas. It's a condition that forces you to break the law and there's nothing you can do about it. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

From Misunderstood to Mission-Critical: The Potential of Neurominority Talent
βWe should not fit our life to the demands of social conformity; we canβt find a model to live by from others, we can only find that within ourselves.β
βWe do not think of the neurodiversity movement as one that seeks to integrate neurominority people into all the existing ways of living in the world as a human being.β
βThere is a certain way of being human that is our way. We want to be free to live our life in our way, and not in imitation of otherβs life.β
