A big step for Mirri today! I was making a commotion, going in and out the front door. Instead of running to the bedroom to hide under the bed as usual, she stayed in the living room and watched from under a chair. Then she came right back out when the commotion ended. Big progress!

This sweet girl is Shoyu. Shoyu came to us a full YEAR ago, found outside with her two kittens. She’d clearly never been around people before and was completely terrified, but not aggressive. The area she was found in was unsafe to return to for TNR so we decided to give socialization a try. 🧵
