There are three movies. I've only seen the last one. By all reports this goes much harder than the previous media. The action choreography is exceptional. Some of the best Hand-to-hand combat I've seen in a movie in the 2020s. Clean, uncomplicated by edits, beautifully executed (no pun...)

Let's start a new movie post. Every movie I've seen that was released in the States (legally) in late 2024 or 2025... I'll post them in the order I saw them, a few a day. Eventually I'll catch up to where I am (as if starting this, I've only seen 18 new movies so far this year...)

Close to being an excellent adaptation of one of the more interesting books I read in the last few years, until, what I will bet you $100 were some Spielberg notes hit the screen, derailing the purely female POV and undoing some of its intentionality. Still very good.

The only thing good here is that the audio quality is AMAZING, and they pay a higher % to artists, but so few people use it, I'm not sure the latter matters much right now.
