Walking in downtown LA around noontime, I realized the man walking toward me was Morgan Freeman. We made eye contact, he looked apprehensive.

As we got closer I smiled and quietly nodded. He beamed, nodded even deeper, and we passed without a word.

Another thing to mention for people who don't live in LA.

Most of LA is very chill and peaceful right now. There's a huge Pride fest going on, countless farmer's markets, tourists walking around, families at the parks, people walking their dogs.

It's a big place.
