I am so excited that to be in the same anthology as my buddies Rich Larson and D.F. McCourt -- with whom I also share a byline, since we wrote the story together (a first for me!)

Five points on an invisible line: Family, Love, and Fighting Fascism - ImaginAtlas After several years of anticipation, the sequel to Su J. Sokolโ€™s Cycling to Asylum (which has received a new edition under the title Invisible Lines) is finally here. As someone who absolutely adored ...

Thank you ImaginAtlas for this detailed and thoughtful review. I also love the title: "Five points on an invisible line: Family, Love and Fighting Fascism."

I've always found @cycling2asylum.bsky.social's books read like real life through a science fiction paradigm.
Must be the #bicycles!
Go to xyr profile page and read reviews, interviews & more. These are great books (and thoughtful, too) to recommend for #EBookGifts.

Book promo post. Background colours are alternating shades of orange and blue, with a distressed texture. Two books are featured: Invisible Line and Five Points on an Invisible Line, both written by Su J. Sokol. Invisible Line is split diagonally, with the opposite corners showing skyscapes of Montreal and the title at an angle between the two corners. Five points shows the same city views, but on the opposite corner than depicted on Invisible Line. A cyclist pedals through the centre of the book, through the title, which is again at a slant.

If I'm stuck while outlining, I'll start a list called "Stupid things that could happen next" and write a bunch of nonsense ideas down. Pterodactyl attack. Everyone starts singing. Someone transforms into a werewolf.

Eventually the ideas become less stupid, and usually I find a solution.

โ€˜They threatened to bulldoze my houseโ€™: fear and violence stalk journalists in Modiโ€™s India Attacks and self censorship, draconian anti-terror laws and tycoonsโ€™ control over the media, are all seen as eroding the countryโ€™s democracy

'Today, in Modiโ€™s India, many journalists say they fear being framed under draconian anti-terrorism laws, or the arrival of pro-Modi gangs at their front door.'

That this piece had to be published anonymously illustrates the dire situation.
