Radiance
We view values
in different ways.
One carries, one silent.
Thread frays, one mends.
Respect births out like
subterranean roots
of rainbows
in a deep dark array
of what is
felt, not seen.

Radiance
We view values
in different ways.
One carries, one silent.
Thread frays, one mends.
Respect births out like
subterranean roots

of what is
felt, not seen.
Each start.
Each star a soft rebellion,
a conscious lift
of what remains.
Tiny things in my yard are starting to emerge this springβand I love witnessing it. Creating art alongside learning new ways to do it more sustainably feels like a meaningful path, especially when shared with good people who care deeply for each other and this planet we call home.
#EarthDay2025
...Does its tongue flop from the throat
of a wide-open sneaker,
wheezing so hard it turns red?
Is it uninhibited, contagious,
rerouting the air,
making new shapes of spaceβ
then catching again
on the next breath,
spilling forward,
wild and round
as ever.
What is the shape of a laugh?
Is it a swirling
inverted roundness,
or a zigzagged slide?
Is it plump like dime-store gumballs,
or tiny crumbs of giggles
caught behind the teeth?
Is it stringy, gummy, golden-litβ
hiding inside a jack-oβ-lantern?
....
We live in a beautiful world...White Sands National Park was spectacular!

βBRAVA! An Homage to Women in the Visual Artsβ exhibition poster. The design features a textured, wintry blue image of tree branches from the βMono No Awareβ series by Cara Luneau. Text below includes the exhibition location, βBoulder Public Libraryβs Canyon Gallery,β and details about the opening reception on Thursday, February 6, from 5:00β6:30 PM. The layout has a clean and elegant style with gray and blue tones.
A side-by-side artistic composition featuring two contrasting visuals. On the left, a close-up of Megan Morganβs work showcasing a detailed, textured, red pattern resembling organic fibers or threads. On the right, a black-and-white photograph of Magdalena Abakanowicz standing in a room surrounded by her iconic sculptures of headless, hunched figures made from textured materials. Both names, βMEGAN MORGANβ and βMAGDALENA ABAKANOWICZ,β are displayed in bold white text over their respective sections, emphasizing their connection to tactile and sculptural art.
Exciting news! Iβm part of BRAVA! An Homage to Women in the Visual Arts at Canyon Gallery, Boulder Public Library (Feb 4βMar 30). My piece honors Magdalena Abakanowicz, whose raw sculptures inspire me. Join the opening Feb 6, 5β6:30 PM, and celebrate womenβs artistic legacy! #WomenInArt
