I was amused by the people in the comments on the original post criticizing the cars for running the red light. People are being kidnapped off the streets and that's your f'n concern?!?!?

It is amazing. But they used this to justify shooting a woman on Saturday. They also lied and said she was aiming a gun at them, which video evidence proves wasn't true.

The same was said about Chicago. And as someone who lives there I can tell you it was all a lie.

While doing some Minor League Nerds research, I came across this excellent cartoon from the start of a team's 1937 season.

The hats we wore during our recording with Richard Chalmers, owner of the Acadiana Cane Cutters. Richard had a Texas A&M Aggies hat. Johnny wore the Cane Cutters on-field hat. Eric wore an 804 Richmond Flying Squirrels hat.

With the expansion, I assume they'll go back to divisions instead of a single table. Not that it will help with the distances to the non California teams.

They're also adding a team in Long Beach. Im not too sure about that one. Seems a little too south.

The Pioneer League will be adding a team in Modesto as well.

In the last 34 days, I've attended 25 baseball games, which includes a 9 day streak. Twice I went back-to-back days without seeing a game. I must say, seeing that many games in that time period was much easier when I was younger.
