i went through and turned off all "advanced moderation" settings. Because the thing technology most needs to do is get the fuck out of the way. the settings for graphic media and sexual content are fine, but otherwise, I don't need a nanny.

Today's cleaning music was Chevelle's latest album, Bright as Blasphemy. I don't think it's as musically interesting as some of their other work, but it's consistently good (no skips for me!), and honestly I'm here for the vocals more than anything else

I love when games deconstruct or challenge these ideas so much! I feel like relying too heavily on this trope often leads to narratives that don't really challenge the status quo of the world they're set in unless they throw in a battle against god at some point.

I feel this thread, honestly. It's fun to see and share spicy photos, but it can also suck to try to get to know someone in that sort of social framework - it feels like it's too easy for genuine connection to get lost in the banter, sometimes.

It feels weird that the bind is still kinda slow but doesn't actually do anything by itself, and the pogo attack (like most of them tbh) has like 30 startup frames before the hitbox activates which matters a lot more when I have to play aggressively to heal, but the moveset is really fun and unique

I decided to start a second playthrough of silksong but get the beast crest asap and use it throughout the playthrough, and the highs of this crest are high but the lows are really low

Somehow Aethermancer took "what if monster sanctuary randomizer but bite size" and turned it into hands down one of the best monster battlers I've ever played

there's no dead weight! Every monster has some cool and unique *thing*! And the SYNERGIES. it's just so cool.
