My Bond, cold-ish take, is I just don't want Amazon Bond. Just don't want it. Amazon has never shown the care needed to steward something as well loved as Bond. I loved that episode.

I still remember the TOS-DS9 crossover episode where they ask Worf why Klingons in the past have smooth foreheads. He shrugs and says “we don’t speak of that with outsiders,” and that’s that. Move on with the episode.

This problem with the Bond franchise seems to stem from the relatively recent need for every single thing to be explained and reasoned. I really believe this is a detriment to modern entertainment.
