Microsoft has added transparency and border formatting to Pie & Donut charts... but neither of these features are actually useful (features for the sake of features) and can even make your Pie & Donut charts WORSE for your viewers.

I confess that I just work better when a project has organization, clarity, and vision... so I try and bring that to everything. (yes, it's totally selfish.)

Start with a vision/goal (what your team, staff, clients need from your data to make their lives easier) and then EVERYTHING becomes easier.

This past Saturday, Sept. 20th, marked 2 years since I left my old day job and started doing "Travers Data" full time.

Well, kinda. One needs to think about things in different ways when switching between these programs.

I can build things easily in Power BI but when I play in Tableau I need to change things in my brain for things to work.
