The Home Sec is entirely right. The *vast* majority of the British public will agree with her that this weekend is not a weekend for a march like this. And it will have an impact on what they think of the marchers and their cause.

No security at church services. I agree that most non-Jews don’t realise the level of security that Jewish schools and synagogues need.

Astonishing bravery from security and worshippers outside the synagogue in Manchester looks to have prevented an appalling attack being even worse.

You don’t actually have to both sides this. The Jewish community in the UK is not the Israeli government. You can just condemn the murder of two British Jews killed in their place of worship and you don’t have to say a single other thing.

This is horrifying. My thoughts are with the victims, the wider community and Jewish people in the UK.
