Another amazing show cancelled by Amazon within like 2 months. Étoile was so freaking good. What’s the point of even getting invested in shows anymore?

Spent yesterday watching a fun new show that I really enjoy, Etoile, about ballet companies mixing things up. Watched a documentary w/ & about Toni Morrison after, then got about halfway through an Ingrid Bergman doc. No matter what else I do with my life, I always want to be surrounded by the arts.

I am not at all in this world but this came up on my timeline and, “unable to sell Boogerman on itch,” is an all time out of context sentence for me.

Many symptoms but my ears itch so badly that I want to scrape their insides with a spoon.

I am once again the only person in my vicinity with Covid while also being the only one who tries to be the most careful. I get it at least once a year now. Great for my chronic issues that I already got from having it before and my persistent brain fog.

I realize that pub crawls are all the rage, but I truly feel as though there could be an immense market for library crawls, bakery crawls, museum crawls, bookstore crawls, and greenhouse crawls.

IT’S ONLY BEEN A YEAR. Time means nothing. Moo Deng is a newborn, she is old as the sun.

I just realized that everyone calls it Great British Bake Off (GBBO) instead of what it actually says on screen which is Great British Baking show 🙃 cool cool cool cool.

Update of my understanding on TGBBS: they do get to practice some stuff at home and bring some of their own ingredients. It’s the technical they can’t do that for. I love all of the bakers but I think Nelly is my favorite.

One reason I would be horrible with TGBBS is that I have to follow a recipe to a T. Unless it asks for chocolate chips, then I add more than it says. A rather great segue into the other reason I’d lose, which is making everything chocolate.

So I’ve just now gotten into Great British Baking Show (I know, I know) and I didn’t realize half the time they don’t have a recipe?!?!?! They have the ingredients but during the technicals it looks like they’re just winging it. I started with the most recent season. New binging show for me!

Understandable! I run really hot so the extra layers are hard for me. I’m glad we have solutions :)

I use it for chub rub on my thighs and under my boobs at work because the glide stick I had that was specifically for that was no fragrance. For some reason, everything that says “no fragrance” smells really awful to me. That some people genuinely use it as an all over deodorant is… interesting.

He didn’t say anything I haven’t heard before but his demeanor and openness to witness that I’m struggling was incredible. As soon as I calmed down we went back to my exercises. Really grateful for him today. A reminder that people can be around for like 45 min of your life and make an impact.

Had PT today with my 4th person (I always come on different days) and was having some med issues. SSRI withdrawal due to an apparently absent psych not answering messages. I’ve had anxiety, et al. for decades and this guy was the most calming person I’ve had help me in yrs.

Oh man, kp just showed up for me in the last few years for some reason and half the time it’s the keratin and the other half a very thin, wispy ingrown. Always amazed to find new info about this stuff.

Updated my address with health insurance and now I’m paying more per month for the exact same fucking doctors. America is great, everything is great.

It’s national independent bookstore day and I’m stuck at the house waiting for the delivery of my new bookshelf. The irony 😭 If it doesn’t get here in its allotted time I’m gonna be so mad.

Didn’t realize how spoiled I was food-wise until my bf told me he was leaving the leftovers out for me after he made tacos the other day.

My bf went to culinary school which is great because I hate cooking. But it’s not great because then I say things like “co-lander” instead of colander and he has to fish for what I’m trying to say. At least we know I’ve read the word before.

Definitely dodged a bullet! I enjoy talking about it with people, trying to understand where it comes from, etc but I can’t imagine being like, “sorry, big astro says no.” Lol

This is very unserious, but I do not understand the utter hatred of people who enjoy horoscopes. I understand hating the people who scam others out of money or take advantage of the vulnerable via astro stuff but like… it’s fun and silly. And again, very unserious.

What America lacks in [fart noise] it more than makes up for in [more and louder and slightly more musical fart noises].

My mom and I butt heads a lot but I couldn’t stop coughing earlier and she came and gave me some Vicks to put on my feet. Sweet moment. Or I was keeping her awake, but I’m going with sweet moment.
