I'm working on an idea that is meant to give people greater ability to share more facets of themselves online. Let me know if you're interested in hearing more about the idea!

I love the effort but viewing your index.html and seeing a lack of good semantic elements doesn't leave the best first impression. I recommend improving that sooner!

Being recruited Thoughts around what makes recruiting messages effective.

What makes cold-call recruiting messages effective?

GSAP is the most comprehensive and capable JavaScript animation library. Now it's completely free for everyone!!

This is great news for the web and for GSAP

Social media spam networks already exist from Twitter and other places. Transferring between networks is order of magnitudes easier than scaling them up from nothing like when Twitter was started

The creator's niche dilemma and the curator's dilemma Thoughts around social media's limits and how to potentially address them.

I'd like to see a social media site that allows creators to easily post to particular feeds that they own. I wrote about that idea here.

Would you use a site like this?

Chromium

@bram.us Any way you can bring some attention to this? Seems like an issue with fixed elements (potentially this issue issues.chromium.org/issues/40792... ?). Also with view transitions

I particularly like the walking creature that I created using inverse kinematics. I played around with several approaches and settled on this one. I am still not 100% satisfied with the results, but it's good enough to be included
