If you're looking for an Udo Kier film to watch, may I recommend BACURAU (2019), starts off like a worthy slice of sociopolitical realism and ends up as demented Brazilian neo-western exploitation. Don't read anything else, just see it. Contains one of my favourite film moments of the 21st century.

You're right, and that's why we still need an official ruling on YANKEE HOTEL FOXTROT.

And while it definitely makes sense to treat THE CLASH as '77, I'll still have to go on record every time I vote for it that I'm actually voting for the much better U.S. version.

The big question is whether the first Clash album counts as '77 (when it was released in the U.K.) or '79 (when it was released in the U.S.), or whether it can be in both tournaments because the track lists are different.

Elvis Costello's UNFAITHFUL MUSIC & DISAPPEARING INK is pretty much exactly what I want from a musician's memoir. Just the right mix of biographical details, musical analysis, and name-dropping/gossip.

Even though I can't win the bracket -- & would be in first place if Nirvana had won -- I'm still glad Fugazi made the final 8.

In fact, I think this is the best final 8 of any of the brackets I've followed. Usually there are a couple albums I don't like/don't get, but these are all genuinely great.
