If Democrats wanted to give an actually impactful filibuster; they could offer a joint, talking filibuster that demands Trump and Musk restore constitutional rule.

- Hold a joint press conference demanding Trump and Musk restore constitutional governance

- Hold a joint press conference demanding Musk resign from DOGE

- Announce a Congressional boycott of X

Things Democratic Senators could do that would be useful:

- Withdraw unanimous consent from all Senate business until constitutional rule was restored

- Refuse to vote for any legislation until constitutional rule was restored

- Boycott as a caucus until constitutional rule was restored

I wish more people I gave the book to or recommended it to would read it. I want to be closer to these people and HIAWWY is such a deeply emotional illustration of what it is I’ve gone thru and still battle against.

I’ve also given this book to a couple of people to read. Only one has, and it deepened our connection profoundly. They didn’t have the upbringing I did, so it was all huge enlightenment moments into the psyche and trauma that we exvangelists have had to heal from.
