Some of elementary schools in Lamoille county got that classic early 20th century look. This is in Johnson.

The one I went to was built in 1919 and then an expansion a few years later that doubled the size.

And when I was in sixth grade they did another that connected it to the gym.

My college town got flooded out a while back and it really changed things.
Just learned the public library was relocated across town. Like they literally moved the building out of the floodplain 💝

An underrated aspect of dynasty warriors: it’s a lot more fun if you have a second player who is into it too 👏

I’ve heard good things about that one too, probably after the holidays for me.

I played all the old ones on the PS2 and thought the series peaked with 5.

But I’ve been playing 8 lately and it’s definitely the best form of the classic formula. It’s pretty badass.

Real. The original Musou series is based on Three Kingdoms, which is one of my all time favorites.

For me they’re about finding the flow.

I do like it when a Musou game meets another series halfway, like Persona 5 strikers.

This probably was the best way to tell the prequel story for BOTW.

I guess it was kind of inevitable that Jason and I would revisit Hyule Warriors.

It’s made by the same team that does Dynasty Warriors but it’s slightly different. Your musous are more powerful in this one; you can one shot most mini bosses with them. But they charge slower too 🤔

My son is pretty excited about this

These panels are kind of a microcosm of Ultra Magnus and Hot Rod as a team.

Magnus is best as the squared-away lieutenant who is on top of everything (and worries too much).

Hot Rod is more that carefree guy who steps up when needed and eventually stepped up into being a leader 💝

Reading collected Phase 2 of IDW Transformers and its best-written collection of Transformers stories I’ve seen.

I’ve never enjoyed Hot Rod and Ultra Magnus nearly this much; the biggest misstep of G1 is that it stopping giving new characters room to breath, once it became all about the new😔

The reality of classic peanuts is that the Christmas and Halloween specials are great, the Thanksgiving one is solid, and it gets pretty dicey after that 🙏

My kids have watched the new Charlie Brown summer musical on Apple TV several times and I’d say it’s pretty solid.

It’s not quite like classic peanuts but it’s close enough.

I think Zhuge Liang as depicted in Three Kingdoms wins this matchup.

Zhuge’s observational and deductive skills are comparable to Sherlock Holmes. He’s also perfectly attuned to omens, to the point where he’s basically prescient.

Not sure Bats would be expecting that. Great matchup tho.

I heard they brought in Dahl to write the screenplay but it was too misanthropic, so they gave him a co-writer who added a lot of the pithy wit that makes Wonka enjoyable 🙏
