The wording of the post just feels really chunky and awkward with the pro-trans reading. I'm not fully convinced.

Not so sure. From this angle they appear to be agreeing with the "man in a dress" statement, qualifying it as "trans doesn't even needing surgery".

At the end of the day, their only tangible justification that exists in reality for banning trans people from gendered spaces, is the same justification that race segregationists used to ban people of colour from "white people spaces".

I thoroughly destroyed this person's exact anti-LGBT extremist talking points the other day, and they blocked me because when their "facts" didn't hold up under basic scrutiny, they just fell back on "I want trans apartheid because something something biological sex or whatever".

Their extremist world view simply can't hold up to actual objective fact-based scrutiny, so rather than consider that they might have been lied to about trans people (and propagating those lies), they blocked.

This woman may not have done anything violent. Could be fraud for all we know. And you'd put her in a men's prison.

You notice I'm rejecting your biological essentialist and scientifically illiterate "understanding" of sex, claiming that actual women with breasts and a vagina are somehow men.

But seeing that the extremist straw man you built for me doesn't actually seem to be working for you, let's have a look at the exorcist steel man you built for yourself...

You would have a woman who grew up a girl, is a woman, has never known anything but being a woman & put her in a men's prison.

"things" practically unusable. If someone did that for sex reasons they'd fucking hate it and desist long before they'd be transferred. It's likely why there weren't actually any issues with trans women prisoners on HRT.

You wouldn't find a trans person on this planet who thinks that a prisoner should be allowed to "I'm trans" and to be transferred the same day. Longer-term medical transition would be a necessity for *anybody* to accept that.

You just admitted that prison safety isn't really bothering you *that* much when it's cisgender on cisgender violence, but the moment you see a trans woman in a prison minding her own business your lose your fucking mind.

The study you cling to doesn't break this down into subcategories, but given that sex work has become so necessary for trans women to literally survive, it wouldn't suprise me at all if most of the number you cited were caught doing prostitution in order to put food on the table.

It's also a fact that sex work is categorised under the Sexual Offences Act 2003 category you cited, and given trans women are generally more prone to being forced into sex work because most regular businesses (about 2/3rds by last anonymous survey) won't hire a trans person.

For one, the figures you showed don't show any offences in prisons, only out.

All you're doing is looking at people you personally dislike because of bigotry and extremist rhetoric, and then working backwards based on hypotheticals to try and find a nonsense excuse for extremist opinions.

Again, you're looking really silly by claiming that trans women are men. They're simply not.

There's also no documented evidence that transitioned women pose any risk to anybody in general pop women's prison.

You're part of a movement demanding that trans people be forced into separate spaces away from the rest of the normal population.

If you don't think that's apartheid, then you either too illiterate to know the actual meaning of the word or you're just lying.

Additionally, I think the fact that you dogmatically use the rhetoric and slurs that anti-LGBT extremists in their pro-apartheid talking points tells me that you either spend a lot of time around them, or spend a lot of time with someone who does...
