END OF SPOILERS. final thought, Hades 2 is a strong 8 and continues the run of every @supergiantgames.bsky.social game being very worth the money and time. Seriously, play their entire catalog.

If I compare it to Hades 1, I remember that ending feeling more "earned" because the change in Hades himself was a lot more slight - but the fact he changed /at all/ was the victory. Moving him an inch (emotionally) felt like lifting the entire earth.

It would be so poetic if like they like play wrestled or something and he finally realizes he doesn't want to fight this person any more.

Maybe the post game will clear some of this up or flesh it out more. I'm definitely looking forward to running around and seeing what else is hidden.

I don't think the plot point is bad by any means! I actually think the idea that Cronos lived this entire other life and that's what 'defeats' him is sorta poetic.

I wish we had a more direct scene of him playing with baby melinoe, and she's being super cute, and him thinking "oh fuck, she won"

But I wish that we got to see more of goodCronos' time with baby melinoe and the alternate history. I think more scenes there would've sold his transition much better.
