I get what that sentiment, and share it to a degree, but I also have come around to the following - sometimes, it's better to have that one season than none at all (or the inverse, drag on for too many). Stumptown needed one more at least, but it tied up well in the end. (some loose threads).

It had a fantastic cast. Highly recommend watching it. Shoot, is it streaming anywhere?

After reading this, I looked up the show. It got great reviews, but COVID hit and the already-greenlit second season was canceled. I guess I’ll stick to the source material.

Stumptown! That is one of the shows that should have gotten more love and should still get more love. With all the threads of one-season shows* that should have had more seasons, Stumptown is unfortunately forgotten amidst the usual suspects.

*Need to add the brilliant Terriers to the list.

Having just read both books back to back, it is disappointing that the Batman/Deadpool issue isn't getting more love. Both were far more entertaining than I expected them to be and had some really good stories and art.

But Bat & 'Pool fatigue is real; rather enjoyed the other pairings more.

Comics Scene was my favorite magazine growing up, more so than Wizard.

Also, pretty funny they seemed to have replaced Angel with Batman in that line up.
