Foster is completely blocked off at 56th. Neighbors told me someone was shot and there may be some sort of standoff with suspects?

Pro-tip: if you have video of you or others directly intervening to obstruct ICE or de-arrest someone, for god’s sake don’t post it on social media. Or at a minimum blur faces first. You’re just begging for federal charges.

Two things felt different to the ppl I spoke with who’d been protesting at the ICE building for months.

1st was the sheer volume of tear gas, pepper balls and flash-bangs used, seemingly unprovoked.

2nd was seeing so many videographers/live-streamers embedded with the feds as they marched out.

ADS-B Exchange appears to put the ICE helicopter between Beaverton and Hillsboro.

Why did the ICE helicopter suddenly buzz off to Beaverton? Maybe it's just a reporting error.

In Portland, Oregon,(DHS) and (ICE) used pepper spray on the breathing hole of a peaceful protester who was wearing a blow-up frog costume.

More importantly, it was highly irresponsible of the @nytimes.com to publish this article (which I know they’ve been working on for months) right now. It sends a message to an unaware public that the socialists in City Hall are somehow responsible for current national attacks on Portland.
