I made a video about the underestimated role that wealthy US neighborhoods (who block housing and community integration) play in gentrification. I have to admit, I never expected some one could underestimate it, in the most insane way possible.

What in the actual f was this guy on when writing that paragraph? Please tell me this book is just like a fictional American Psycho fever dream of a guy who think's he's a leftist urban economist, and then goes on a rampage.

They couldn't build the freeways in wealthy neighborhoods, thankfully this increased bargaining power of the poorer neighborhoods, who suckered the capitalists into bulldozing their homes. "Trickle down" done right! Am I right?!
