Thanks for the chuckle this has given me as I wade thru admin tasks.
30.01.2025 10:58 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I've had the privilege of supporting this school over the past 12yrs or so. We can s/times use the term 'transformative' a bit too loosely - but what the staff, under an inspirational leadership team, have done here is truly transformative.

๐บ I saw this news report last night.
๐ฃ๏ธโThe school prepares bags of emergency supplies for children who suddenly become homeless.โ

It's also worth watching the BBC News piece from today which beautifully captures how the staff @StNichsBoston go the extra mile and further. There's such a strong beating heart in that school.
29.01.2025 14:48 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Watching this sent warm shivers down my spine. Wonderful to see the heart-work of @StNicPriAcad being recognised in this way.
29.01.2025 08:41 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 1 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Good to see you got out there. The mix of rain + dark + wearing glasses put me off from running last night. 4yrs ago I did such a run - and went crashing into a bus stop (I know - how did I not see it?!). Laid me off running for 4mths, which was more painful than the actual injury. #edurunners
29.01.2025 08:40 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0So proud to see the amazing commitment of staff at Boston St Nich's being acknowledged in this way. I've had the privilege of witnessing 1st hand the transformation of the school - truly inspiring.

Great to hear you've got this opportunity to share more of your passion, Dave.
26.01.2025 17:50 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Absolutely loving this series. I'm already onto Episode 5 and I can't wait to find out how things pan out....

25.01.2025 21:18 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0More to the point, are you waiting to go in for a concert - and if so, who/what? Lovely venue. Got to see David Gilmour there a few years ago and hearing the opening riff to Shine on you crazy diamond as I sat up in the choir stalls was akin to a spiritual experience.
25.01.2025 21:17 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Agreed, Andy. We need to promote more conversations for ourselves and for those we work with/support around the theme of 'showing up for ourselves'.
25.01.2025 21:15 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0What a great, honest and thought-provoking blog, Ed. Tone was spot on IMO - and will invite leaders and others to reflect upon the extent to which they s/times don't show up for themselves. You point to things that really do need taking account of if we are to be effective in whatever we do.
25.01.2025 21:14 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I'd echo your recommendation. I wasn't sure about visual of RW's face portrayed as an ape - but have to say it was very powerful and worked so well. A great film - and I hadn't expected to be saying that.

30.12.2024 17:54 โ ๐ 6 ๐ 4 ๐ฌ 6 ๐ 0Just into the final episode - for the second time round! Superb! Stephen Graham is one of our finest actors - and he's supported by other excellent actors. A gripping storyline.

20.12.2024 10:43 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Oh my days! That takes me back! And i have to say - what on earth was that all about - having primary age children singing about knights winning their spurs, riding through the land for God and for valour?????

I heard yet another heartfelt recommendation for this programme just yesterday, Ed. Looks like it's got to go to the top of my 'to watch list' - tissues at the ready. Wishing you a peaceful & restorative break when it comes. Great to have connected with you finally IRL the other week.
