Often too little room in the Abundance agendas for environmental policies.

We are delighted to celebrate Science Week Ireland, and especially to mark 30 years of this national celebration of curiosity, discovery, and public engagement with science. Science Week has always shown what happens when research meets communities in real, meaningful ways. People coming together to explore ideas, ask questions, and imagine new possibilities. At ENGAGED Open Research and Public Engagement Roadmap, we care about that connection. Research that is open, shared, and shaped with the public builds trust and stronger understanding. This week is a reminder of how important that work is. Hereโs to 30 years of Science Week. And to many more years of curiosity leading the way! Oh dear. More worries about the consequences of CRISPR. The basic step - cutting both strands of DNA, which are then repaired, is not anodyne and has lasting effects.
