That's a global conversation. Canada's contribution changes little. As far as I can tell, the planet is not serious about *any* limit. USA pivot to BRICS is deeply concerning.

I wonder how much energy has been injected into the atmosphere dropping bombs in ukraine, Iran, gaza, and the carribean.

I definitely don't think "most" are paying attention. I think a very few are paying attention. But high level conversations full of light inform political leadership across the spectrum.

No one needs to tell me about the post truth environment, as any scan of my timeline will indicate.

They radiate more light than heat. And that's what we need. More light. Less heat.

This is the opposite of America.

And that's the path we need to follow.

Separatist Premiers can fuck right off.

What I like about Canada is that people are paying attention to the policy analysis, not just the political calculus. We can have this discussion. And *both* these guys elevate the conversation.

Yes, if you have an untrustworthy separatist grifter of a premier that is looking to pick fights with Ottawa and with nurses' unions and with teachers, then they are going to behave like despots ... and a political analyst may be better prepared than a policy analyst.
