Well ya know, it was solid, just the story beats weren't great to me

Yeah that type of stuff is like a second movie. But I like to start with a dip your toes in type thing

I think Werewolves Within I will revisit as an introduction to horror type movie, like in a similar role I have for Tucker And Dale Vs Evil, for when I have friends who seem interested but haven't engaged with horror much.

I also mixed like movies I been meaning to watch but somehow have not (invasion of the body snatchers, Cocaine Bear, lake placid) but also mixed in movies I never heard of before that were a delight (werewolves within, frankenhooker, audition)

Personally I liked mixing up the vibe, horror comedies mixed in with really dark indie horror, mixing up the decades ... It helped keep it fresh and interesting.

I mostly watched movies that were new to me, unless I was watching with somebody else (Terrifier 3, 28 Days later, Misery)

My ratings are like an MLB ump's strike zone, there is a general idea that it is there, but how I call it on any given day depends on how my day has gone so far.

Ya my ratings are like a 5 is a movie that I absolutely loved every minute, a 4 is like yeah that was a good movie, a 3 is like it was fun but maybe silly or flawed, a 2 is like I didn't like it but can see some redeeming qualities, and a 1 is like I hated it.

It's all vibes based lol

No not for November ha, it was surisingly difficult at times to keep up with it ha and a little bit stressful. But I may do it each October for now on.

I was thinking of doing a month of reading a short story per day. I've done that before too

But body snatchers from the 70s, house of wax and the blob from the 50s ... I think those are the only ones with multiple renditions
