We need a system that values people over profit.

We’re all supposed to get services for our tax dollars - that’s why government exists.

A shared pool of resources. Billionaires are doing everything they can to take that away from us. They don’t care about you.

They plan to rob you of healthcare and increase your daily costs, while handing even more wealth and power to billionaires.

Send this to friends and relatives that are misunderstanding what this bill is.

Be aware that cuts to services we all rely on is simply a choice - and we could be asking the wealthiest to pay their fair share instead.

Public funding for public needs - not corporate interests.

As the federal admin is set up to tear Medicaid apart - harming millions of Minnesotans - the House GOP is spending time casting doubt on Medicaid. Rep. Hicks is right - the agreed HHS bill addresses their concerns, but they’re holding it up because they distrust public agencies.

You’re not saving money by denying people health care.

While we fight to protect our public funding and environment here in Minnesota, Congressional Republicans are moving to sell our country for parts - to corporate polluters, the big business that they're fighting to cut taxes for.

We could have strong services that are worth our money, we just need to get past the kneejerk “taxes are bad” instinct we’ve been taught.

Advocate for our elected officials to fund the society you want to live in. Advocate for revenue.

Those developed countries with fair tax systems - that ask the rich and corporations to pay their fair share - have quality, public healthcare, well-funded schools, free college, stable infrastructure, less income inequality, and more.

Opinion: If Big Tech mined like the Iron Range, it would pay its fair share Taconite miners pay a tax for the extraction of resources. Data miners should, too. The specifics may be modern, but the logic is time-tested.

Thank you to Sen. Grant Hauschild taking a stand against these oligarchic tech billionaires, and against these cuts to essential public services that will harm our communities.

By taxing the 14 largest social media companies that operate in Minnesota - mining our data - we would be holding them accountable to what they truly owe while building a stronger state budget that can withstand Trump & Elon’s disastrous cuts.

Social Media is the Big Tobacco of our generation - harming our public health (especially our kids) while shirking responsibility.

Rather than cutting essential public services, legislators can tax the wealthiest corporations what they truly owe to our shared society.

No more TurboTax? Minnesotans could file state income taxes for free under bill at Capitol. Currently, only taxpayers with incomes below a certain threshold can electronically file their state returns for free.

For too long, private tax lobbyists have blocked common-sense legislation that would allow all of us to have less headaches around tax season.

They continue to exert power over electeds to make profit off of a system that should be free.
