I feel like we've got away from my original point; capitalists cannot operate outside of capitalism itself, regardless of their personal morals or ethics. The market selects for profitability, if they aren't relentless in this pursuit then they'll be ousted from their class position eventually.

That's true, it's far easier to exploit and enslave others when you consider them to be backwards and inferior. However, seeking to maximise profit ultimately compels them to do so, racist or not. Whether a liberal capitalist or a reactionary, they're still compelled by the same forces of capital.

Correct. As Lenin put it, “The capitalists divide the world, not out of any particular malice, but because the degree of concentration which has been reached forces them to adopt this method in order to obtain profits.”
