I’m enjoying it for what it is. So long as they don’t pull an Enterprise I don’t mind if they don’t take themselves all that seriously. Personally, I really like the Gorn as an alternative to the Klingons. We got the Klingons (not a great attempt IMHO) and the Orions in Discovery.

The Deus Ex soundtracks deserve an ambient revisit. Just great soundscapes.

Sorry for getting maudlin. Your time as Captain Pike has been indelible and is quite possibly the most impactful on the franchise since the Berman era. You sit equal to Picard in my eyes. The cast ensemble alongside you have done what I think many older Trek fans thought was impossible.

@ansonmount.bsky.social I know we still have the rest of season 3, the upcoming season 4 that you and the crew are currently working on, and the recently announced shortened season 5, but when SNW ends I will miss you in the captains chair. I’ll miss the rest of the crew as well.

Oh and these days, let’s not forget that many businesses these days write clauses in their user agreements that negate your ownership of the software. Not all but most of the ones that have meaningful value.

Considering nearly zero software these days offer a single-time payment and those that do, they’re usually well beyond the limit of $199, I wouldn’t buy anything.

Would also be good to make this toggleable so I could have ramps remain uniform when necessary, such as data viz palettes.

I’d love to see a palette generator where I can define parts of the hue ramp as certain contexts like text, borders, states, backgrounds and assign wcag thresholds for each. The ramp would still go light to dark as normal.
