With some weird testing schedules, I ended up with a bit of extra prep time this week—which I used to send a handful of positive notes home, offer needed feedback for recent student writing, and research ways to improve an upcoming project.

Oh, what a thing it is to give teachers more time...

I hang out with a lot of good people so I have to actively remind myself that there are a lot of people out there who have no desire to be “good” in any way
