I added a cheat toggle button so that I can get around faster to test things. Can change it back to regular gameplay as well (I don't know why I haven't added this for 2 years, it took like 5 minutes)

Tri point filtering isn't an option in Godot, but I found a shader online that did it. I then had to make it work with world triplanar which was a little tricky for someone who doesn't usually write shaders (usually use visual shaders).

Added a fade around the edges to give them a highlight, makes it easier to see the edge when you are looking down towards more snow.

Also added tri point filtering for my textures today, something that is not an option by default in #Godot - gives it that #N64 vibe

Last update on Isle Of Avalon for a while, putting the project on pause while I work on a new project. I won't be working alone on the new project so hopefully it will progress quicker than this game.

Yeah it's crazy, but also not Godot's fault entirely, it is due to the gltf file format.
There's a few use cases that I have come across. Legend 64 lerps through a few sets of colours to simulate a day/night cycle. Also the original Spyro games used 2 sets everywhere for the environment

Nice, not many people know how to get multiple vertex colours sets into godot, took me a while to work out how.
