They've been idling their dump trucks near my building for the past 4 nights. They've managed to remove most of the snow banks along st.clair west near deer park, and KO'd a fire hydrant. I hope they finish soon because it's so loud when they bang the snow into the trucks😮‍💨

I would guess nimbyism for both and tricky topography for the Greenwood area. Also, they used to have multiple fire-extinguishing water towers at each of the yards for in case they need to put out train fires. I wonder if they wanted to keep them open-air for safety reasons
