In a chip shop I’ve only had a deep fried Twix. It’s superior because the biscuit gives it rigidity.

I’ve had that twice, but only as a “proper dessert” in an excellent Scottish pub/restaurant (The Haven) in Boston and served with vanilla ice cream.

It does sound pretty good, but I’m sure it’s something I’d try once and go, “yup, tried it and it was something special, but never again.”

Yeah, my best mate could barely have left it 3 hours. He certainly wouldn’t have managed 3 days.
This was weather and time delayed.

Yeah. I’d heard rumours of 0.7, so when I was quoted such a “reasonable” price, plus the explanation of what I was buying, then I ordered it.
Then I procrastinated fitting it for almost 3 months. 😬

I think they are. Yaris of this generation normally have chrome inserts inside the headlamps. These ones don’t. 😬

Oh right. No it’s pretty clean that way. The engine bay is a mess of corroded aluminium and rusty bolts though. Basically “6 year old car that’s never been washed under the bonnet.”

Yeah, it feels so wasteful.
I haven’t skipped to old one yet, but I’m not sure I can justify storing it…

Naturally, those 45 mins break down as:
25 mins - Careful disassembly and making sure I have the correct replacement part.
15 mins - Swapping over bulbs, bungs and gaskets. Test plugging together to make sure it works.
5 mins - Reassembly.

Can find the parts. I don’t have a garage or secure place to leave a partly disassembled car right now, and I certainly can’t be bothered fighting with a headlamp, so I went to Toyota and forked out for the whole headlamp unit.
