arrest a man for carrying a copy of our magazine. This is a threat to both journalism and freedom to protest
History when I was taught it in school was terribly boring. I enjoy a good history documentary these days though; they make the effort to bring the stories alive, go on location, re-enact and dramatise it. They also choose topics more relevant to our times, like the rise and fall of Hitler.

Similarly, I find thinkers with direct lived experience of far right dictatorship, Greeks of a certain age for example, crystal clear about whatβs happening now.

Almost as if she knows sheβs never going to have to try to actually deliver any of this.
Dadβs books are full of empathy, common sense, and a healthy suspicion of the powerful. But at its heart his work is also about how systems keep people poor while pretending itβs their own fault. So I hope Kemiβs taking notes as well as reading the jokes.

Quite a lot actually, and we wrote it too.
Left: Kemi Badenoch says the attack on the Synagogue "was not just an attack on British Jews, it was an attack on all of us"
Right: Kemi Badenoch did not mention the mosque set alight
Isn't an attack on a mosque "not just an attack on British Muslims, it was an attack on all of us" - as well?

What an admirably clear statement from the Jewish Leadership Council, especially when all of those involved must surely have been dealing with so many other urgent challenges in safety, security and grief + shock today before having this further divisive and distracting intervention to address too.

perplexity just did the maths for me - 100kg of water costs 25p and just using an electric winch would cost 0.42p (assuming 100% efficiency) so yes - definitely - do it with a winch.
