The sun rises to shine onto a City of Winnipeg temporary water supply tank, parked on a residential street.
Itโs the semi-annual watermain event on my block (West End block party). Neighbours gather at the water supply to commiserate, fill toilet buckets, and wonder out loud how long our troubles will last. 36h hours and counting. To quote a Wpg. man: โWe have no reason to be optimistic.โ
