Not entirely your fault. Most of our own news outlets are reporting it as "shots fired." CBP swarmed into the neighborhood and started lobbing flash bangs. They had a bad week in the courts this week. Always makes them escalate--both the violence and the lies.

I apologize. Yours is the ONLY story that makes clear that there is no evidence that it actually happened. Thank you. CBS, ABC, Fox, CST, Trib, etc. headlines all read: "shots fired."

This is CBP LYING about being shot at. There is no ballistic evidence. With dozens of people out on the street, filming, yelling, blowing car horns, there are no eyewitnesses to the "black jeep" CBP reported. They LIE. All The Time. Pls change yr headline. Trump wants to deploy troops already.

Bovino keeps telling the lie that he was attacked with "fireworks munitions" the day he threw teargas. The kids they attacked that day filmed from beginning to end. No such thing happened.

They were throwing flash bangs around. This was a HUGE invasion. The Mexican neighborhoods are very disciplined. It's driving CBP crazy. You hear the kids saying "Don't take the bait" over and over again. They were back in this neighborhood again today.

Yep. But I'm afraid they are going to skip deploying the NG and go straight to Trump declaring the insurrection act. Noem, Hegseth, Miller, Rubio have all moved themselves onto military bases. Bovino's deposition last week was chilling. They escalate every time there's a court date.

I don't think the police even believe them, but a CPD supervisor who'd finally had enough of them being called by CBP when they tried to cause a riot in an adjacent neighborhood, and told them to just stand by, has been receiving death threats.

CBP has called 911 both at Broadview and in Chicago multiple times. Usually the police end up getting teargassed for their trouble. CPD needs to come out LOUDLY and say there is NO EVIDENCE that shots were ever fired.

I live here. Don't believe this story for an instant. NO EVIDENCE. DHS/CBP is again floating the fake story that Latin Kings gang members have put out hits on them. The discipline of the protesters is driving them crazy. They ramp up the violence after every court date.

The Mexican neighborhoods of Chicago have been VERY disciplined about confronting them. They understand exactly what's on the line. Chicago Teachers Union teachers have taught kids well. You hear the kids saying over and over again "Don't take the bait." CBP is melting down over it.

Somehow with all of those neighbors out, many filming, there is NO EVIDENCE that this happened. DHS/CBP are also again floating the story that the Latin Kings have put out hits on their agents in Chi. This is a psy op for racist white people. Manufacturing consent for the insurrection act.

WTTW, CBS, ABC headlines are all reporting that agents were "shot at" when it is HIGHLY LIKELY that it never happened. Even Heather Cherone's own piece is showing up on social media with the headline that shots were fired. There is NO EVIDENCE of it--with all those people around, filming.

There is NO EVIDENCE THAT THIS EVER HAPPENED. DHS/CBP's word is NEVER to be believed. They have lied over and over and over again.

CPD unable to confirm or find evidence. Dozens of people out filming this invasion of their neighborhood saw or managed to record any evidence. CBP LIES. ALL THE TIME. You are contributing to the admin's psy op aimed at racist white people. Our own media headlines are irresponsible on this story.

CPD was unable to confirm or find actual EVIDENCE that shots were fired. "Someone," most likely Bovino, called 911 to report shots fired. Somehow, the dozens of people filming CBP during this very violent assault on their main drag managed to see or film this supposed incident. CBP/DHS LIES.

He looks VERY violent, seizing while his wife tries to hold on to him and that very tiny baby. What's his name? How do you know he's from Ecuador? How do you know he is a "violent criminal?" You are part of this psy op for racist white people.

CPB "reported" they were shot at from a black jeep. CPD was unable to confirm shots were fired. There were 100s of people out on the street, many recording video. Somehow, there is no evidence of the "shooting." CBP lies ALL THE TIME.

FAKE NEWS. No agents have been shot. There was a 911 call CLAIMING shots were fired. CPD reports that no actual shots were confirmed and somehow, with hundreds of people recording video of these MFers, there is no proof. CBP calls 911 ALL THE TIME. They lie all the time, too.

Portland did not block ICE. The 9th District blocked deployment of the National Guard to Portland. In Chicago, CBP is ramping up operations and DHS is reporting fake news stories about officers being shot at and high speed chases of criminal aliens. It's a psy op for racist white people.

I do not believe they were shot at here. It was never confirmed but even local media is reporting that "shots were fired" and this article doesn't explicitly say they were not. Nor does the article report by whom and how Bovino was reprimanded for this. They are ramping up to declare insurrection.

These dudes are CBP, not ICE. They are used to policing the border, where no-one sees how bad they are at their jobs and how violent they are. I'm sure some of them ARE Proud Boys and militia members. They're also really, really stupid. A shocking number are Latino.

DHS tried to run this play before. 911 call yesterday reported shots fired. Never confirmed. When they shot Miramar Martinez 5 times and the neighborhood showed up, they said they were Latin Kings and had put a hit out on agents. They ramp up the racist lies every time court goes badly for them.

They NEVER have judicial warrants. If they did, they would not be snatching people out of cars, job sites, laundromats, Home Depot parking lots, and off the streets and sidewalks. They also would not be snatching people who are citizens or who have pending asylum claims or green cards.
