I don't know what the heck is going on with my Pixel but my wake up alarm keeps getting set to quarter volume and it is NOT HELPFUL
01.11.2025 08:01 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Just saw Fox News report on AI rage slop as if it's legitimate to feed the MAGA base.
How do you even explain what's happening right now to someone in their 60s?
Generative AI is going to break reality as we know it
House of Dynamite is a very good film.
Really hoping in a few months this isn't like how COVID made a lot of people rewatch Contagion.
I love line drawing and this piece has such beautiful flow

I'm a few months away from my diagnosis still (after a year of waiting) and sentiments like the one you're replying to are the only reason I ever learned about my issues
Ah, so the British landed gentry just without the same words. That's a real shame.

31.10.2025 08:33 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Being identified as autistic isnβt a revelation, usually.
Part of you always knew.
Itβs grief.
Relief.
Rage.
And rebuilding.
You start seeing the ruins of a life built for someone who never existed - and slowly, carefully, you can start building one that fits.

Love my husband but I think he's sticking firm in his "You need to get diagnosed before you call yourself autistic" stance.
To an extent I understand his position. To him I must be turning into a whole new person.
But Blue sky is proving to be a wonderful space to vent

I'll keep watching Dr Stone with my 7 year old and basking in how amazing science is instead of any morose media right now. I'm depressed enough.
As a postie, Amazon parcels are held together with hope and their glue fails constantly. I reseal about 5 Amazon envelopes on a daily basis and it puts me off buying from them

29.10.2025 20:33 β π 19 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0As always with language, how words are used and who by is *important*
I think that words like "retard" and "transexual" are neutral in a vacuum.
But not when they're part of a medical establishment that oppressed people. No one ruined these words more than the Drs who abused them.
I love you but did you have to describe my morning routine 12 hours ago with *such* bone chilling accuracy?
29.10.2025 19:27 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Unmasking even at home has been an overwhelming process at times. It has taken months. The self-made pressure to make consistent eye contact alone is still a process.
Not making eye contact is exceptionally more comfortable but it does make conversation harder

My other lecturers had a strict "No Wikipedia" policy, which was somewhat fair because I loaded up the page for "Mole" once and it simply said "The moles are full of rage at their enemy the sun" over and over π€£
