#HeyCohost Known as @noise there. I don't post much but I am reading. Please don't 'likeback' due to politeness, or (even worse) engagement if you don't really find the post interesting. It is ok not to follow me if you don't find my writing of any use.

When I am making a place, my first thought is usually 'How flammable everything is? Because PCs will likely try to set it on fire at some point"

Of course my contribution (*) to the language that specifically aims to be positive and minimalistic is to define a new word for a negative feeling.
(kata, which to me now means 'fatigue', 'tiredness')
I wish such personal word would mean something nicer but alas.

(*) not a real contribution

Here is a rose for you. I've met it today and it had a wonderful scent and colour. Maybe it will be helpful to you as well, even as a picture.

And it the same on a different paper, I presume?
Sometimes the way the paper absorbs the ink or watercolour makes them very pale. I had this problem with 100% cotton rag sketchbook which was not properly sized for watercolour - the paint just went into the paper and didn't stay on the surface.

(inks most often use dyes (overall less lightfast category than pigments) but Kawaguro seems to have some 'pigmented black' inks, which makes it very strange. Do you know the full name of the ink?)

26.10.2025 12:48 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 2    πŸ“Œ 0

Alternatively if the ink used some special dye or pigment in it, it might be chemically unstable even without influence of light. Low lightfastness is a primary source of colour shifts like that but PB 27 (prussian blue pigment) for example is known to colour shift even with excelled lightfastness.

It is kind of timeless, in sense it woukd fit right now time really well as well.

Just seems nonsensical to mock the aesthetic idea of a sensitive, feminine, progressive man instead of judging a man by his actions. There's a reason the "anti-performative-male" response just means replicating the manosphere aesthetic.

We just reinvented the Fake Geek Girl for men.

Extremely neon advertisement (made for fictional business in Over/Under game)
Drawing of vintage-looking table with curved legs and a lot of filigree ornamentation stuck in a middle of a somewhat modern diner. A small, beige mud added awkwardly on the top of the drawing in post-process.
Slogans such as 'Classy tables for Everyday Life', 'Curby legs! Get them here!', 'Bulletproof Desk!' and "New: Put Your Enemites Under The Table!!! Customizable Portaits!" are plastered across the poster in a number of magenta-to-blue gradients and dissonant fonts.
Whole ad looks like as if a drunk intern fell into a box full of neon gradients and badly-made cutouts and had to fight them for their life to get out, which is, probably, how this ad was actually made.

I meant that in Over/under you can have a boutique that sells tables (as a furniture) while you also make tables (as writing). (maybe even tables have tables artistically embedded into them)
