Thank you for the recommendation! Can’t remember if I read it as a teenager so will give it a go. I bought Persuasion from a second hand bookshop recently so got that to try too :)

My biggest surprise was the Tenant of Wildfell Hall. I had to read a lot of classic novels when I was studying at uni and I didn’t enjoy them really, but I loved this, so maybe I need to give more a go.

The Polkerran Point books are great for a bit of escapism to Cornwall, and the Tanglewood Bookshop (bought the others to read this year). 🌊📚

My least favourite was the Neighbour Upstairs - found it really uncomfortable to read (but I think that’s the point). 3/4

I usually mainly read crime/thriller but my mystery monthly books were romance. I read books I wouldn’t usually pick up and really enjoyed them. 📖❤️
