Last week’s deck from our 4v4 Teamdraft. Went 3-0 with UG power Walking. Played against 4c breach, Boros and ThoracleConsult combo. Love opening Time Walk and going UG.

I missed this so much. Love. It!

Monday Team draft deck, Oops all combos. 2-1. won a game on a mull to four (for the second time ever) and should have mulled way more aggressively in the match that I lost. (Drew bad as well, but the error was before the game actions). Team won 6-3. #mtgcube

I can confirm the global thopter takeover. Another clone was also played as a side event of the CubeOpen Hamburg this last weekend. Although: the Ornithopters were not numbered, so some shame was thrown around. But everybody had a great time!

You will have to come to Hamburg next year to find out! 😉☠️

Stone Soup Trophy goes to last years main event winner Jonas, with a 7 Yidaro turtle power deck. We had a new location this year to accomodate more players and it was great. A 100 Ornithoper clone also had its first flight parallel to the top 8. Not sure, which thopter took the trophy there.

CubeOpen Hamburg 2025 is a wrap and it was a blast! First place goes to Rowan, who specially flew in from the UK to humiliate the german player base. Well deserved winner! Second place goes to Michel (again top3!) and third to Stefan (again top3!).

Day 2 of CubeOpen Hamburg is running 54 Players battling it out for guts and glory. Mostly glory. And a dual. But mostly glory. #mtgcube (doing my best @joe-cube-anderson.bsky.social impression)

Day 1 of CubeOpen Hamburg is done and it was a blast. 55 players. Six rounds, a 19person stone soup draft (still going on) and a money Team draft afterwards. Tomorrow we will continue and see who has the least fried brain. #mtgcube

One week to go till CubeOpen Hamburg!

I have drafted seeded cubes before. Mostly they tried to ensure a preferred color and or land distribution. Personally I am not a fan of seeded packs and don’t do it for my own cubes. Let randomness sort it out.

First he beat me in the finals of the first draft in Braunschweig and then again in the Top8, savage. Such a deserved winner.

De-Loused in the Comatorium still one of the best albums of all time. Then and now. Was on a magic break back then but we all know about quitting the game.

It really is a thing on it´s own. Feels a little bit like a musical development similar to Refused with The Shape of Punk to Come (to be a bit hyperbolic). Just breaking down borders of the expected.

I gotta admit, I took me a while to get into the new record. Now it keeps on growing on me more and more. It´s nice if an album does not make it easy for you and makes you work for a it. (Or at least for me.)

I have a real hard time passing brazyB and Bob is always a consideration but Voice of Victory is a beast and would be my pick here.

Made top 8 of the cube Open Braunschweig and promptly lost in the quarters. Our 7 person Airbnb had 5 in the top 8, so that was pretty sweet as well. Event was great and ran super smooth! Huge thank you to @cr4cksh07.bsky.social and the whole team!

CubeOpen Braunschweig is a blast! Vibes and location are awesome. I am 4-2 after day 1 and might be able to sneak into top 8 with a 2-1 in the last draft today, but it could be close. #mtgcube

Train Update: everybody but the stuck one (stuckee?) has to switch to another train.

Train Update: train stopped moving because firefighters had to come. To help a passenger who got his arm stuck in the seat. What the hell?! 😄 everybody might have to switch trains.
